Orchard Cottage
This beautiful traditional
cottage dates from the 19th century, has recently been upgraded
and freshly decorated. The property sleeps up to four people
in one twin and one double room, both on the upper floor with
double aspect views to the hills. There is a lawned front garden
and a superb enclosed south facing patio at the rear, with garden
seating, and a conservatory.
Accomodation comprises a spacious
well furnished living room with TV, DVD player, and CD player,
and a superb dining/kitchen/sun room, the kitchen being fully
equipped with oven, hob, washer/dryer, microwave, etc.. There
is a shower room with bath and on the upper floor are are two
bedrooms, one with double and one with twin beds. There is gas
central heating throughout.
The cottage is located
at the south end of the village just two minutes walk from a
Spar shop and ten minutes walk from the village centre with pubs,
restuarants, post office and a further grocery shop. Blair Castle
is just a short walk away with its stunning interior, gardens
and woodland.There are many walking and cycling routes on the
doorstep including Glen Tilt, Atholl Estates and the mountains
beyond. Many views and riverside walks are just a stroll away,
and many more sights are within an easy drive. The town of Pitlochry
is just 7 miles distant with additional facilities including
its well known Festival Theatre.
Weekly rent is £275
pw up until w/c 16 June and from 22 September, and £330
from w/c 23 June to w/c 15 September, except 4 August to 25 August
-£355 per week.Special rates can be arranged during the
winter period. There is a £25 pw supplement for three or
four guests. All prices include electricity, gas, bed linen and
towels. Short breaks may sometimes be available at short notice
only, or during low seasons.
